In light of all the NEWS buzzing about Reality Winner leaking classified NSA information regarding a Russian hack on the 2016 Election, I felt it necessary to assure all voters nothing occurred that changes their VOTE or influenced the RESULTS of the 2016 Election.
Number one, our voting system is a standalone system with no outside connections at any time. After election night all precincts results tapes are compared to ensure the numbers received in our vote tabulation system are the same as recorded at the precinct, this is a manual check that has always checked out to be correct. As is prescribed by law, we then conduct a manual audit on the ballots to make sure the results are, again, correct.
Furthermore, all 67 SOE'S in Florida were in contact with the FBI and Homeland Security before the November Election in an effort to avert any possible hackings.
Questions as to who uses VR Systems as a vendor most of the counties use VR for voter database (FVRS) and over half of the counties do use VR for website service.
