• Your Voter INFORMATION Card

Once the elections office has approved your application, a voter information card will be issued in your name and mailed to you. This card not only lets you know that your application has been approved, but includes a great deal of helpful information. The card lists the district and polling place assignment for your residence street address. You must be registered and vote in the precinct where you are residing on election day. The card also designates the district number for your member of Congress in Washington, your state senator, and your state representative. Also shown are the district numbers for your county commission and your school board. If you live in a municipality, this will be noted, also. It is your responsibility to notify the elections office of a change of name, residence address, mailing address or party affiliation. Your registration record will be updated and you will be sent a new card.

• How do I get another INFORMATION card?

You may write or call the elections office requesting a duplicate registration card or complete another registration application.

• What do I need to bring with me when I go to the polls to vote?

Before voting, every voter must present a Florida Driver's License, Florida Identification Card, or another form of picture identification approved by the Florida Department of State. If you do not present picture identification, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot. Please bring your picture identification to the polls.
